I have one little person who loves to read books with me and hear me tell stories, but has a hard time not fidgeting unless her hands are busy. I decided to give white boards and markers to my girlies while I tell stories to see if this helped the situation. As it turns out the specific girlie in question didn’t fidget at all and she focused on the story a lot more than the normally does. She’s like me, has to keep the hands busy so she can pay attention. (Can you tell from the pics that the story was about animals?)
